Do you still remember your
childhood dream? What did you write in your essay “My ambition” during primary school? It
may be something ridiculous but that was the time that you really dare to dream
big. After so many years, are you still adhere to that?
Dream is
the wish our heart makes. It
is what we wish to achieve in life. It may not need to be as mighty as saving
the world, as long as it is what makes you happy and able to make some changes
in your life in a positive way. However, do
we really give our very best to
achieve these so-called “dreams”?
Pitch
Perfect 2 is a movie that reminds us that you are the only person in this world who are able to control your own
destiny. If you want something, get it yourself. If we do not wake up and chase our dream, the dream will
always be a dream. It is never too late to start living the life you dream of.
You deserve what you want if you have the courage and determination to strive
for it.

Undoubtedly, throughout the journey of chasing our dreams, we will go
through twists and turns. In the movie “Pitch Perfect 2”, Barden Bellas is the first all-female group to win a
national title in acappella. Everything seems well until a botched Lincoln
Center performance for the president leads to a scandal that strips them off
their performing duties. This incident causes tension and strife among the
Bellas. Just like them, we will face some obstacles in our life. The important
thing is that we hold on and believe in ourselves. Never give up on your dreams
and keep moving on.
In this journey called life, we may not always get
what we want. Sometimes, we have to give up something we love in order to keep
the other thing that is more important to us. In this movie, Beca undergoes a
very hard time, making a choice between the Bellas and her own dream. She
always has a dream of becoming a soloist and she knows her talents will brings
her success and fame. She decided to say goodbye to Bellas and follows her dream. However at the end, she
returns to Bellas as she knows it is Bellas that makes her what she is today.

Like what we mentioned in the post “Forever and
Always”, friendship is what keep us moving. Friends are those who are willing
to stand by your side when you are down; Friends are those who you wish to
share your happiness with. If you have already found your true friends, never
ever let them go. Bear in mind, the greatest gift
in this world is not found in the store but in the heart of true friends.

We
might get lost during the journey of achieving our dreams. However,
you will never be alone as long as there are friends who always stand by you. True friends will always back you up and be your strongest
support in life. Just like a
flashlight, they lead us to the correct path when we are in doubt. The lyrics
of the soundtrack “Flashlight” in “Pitch Perfect 2” expresses the meaning of
friend perfectly.
